Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, was born in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was accepted by the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she studied the flute piano as well as the harpsichord for a period of three years. The cost of tuition was covered with a stipend for students as well as a part-time job to earn a living. Lennox was a student at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied with her performance compared with her peers. She started to think about alternatives. Lennox was a flute player in the band Dragons Playground. The band did not make it to the talent show New Faces on I.T.V. From 1977 until 1980 she served as the lead singer for The Tourists, a British Pop band. She had a meeting with Dave Stewart, with whom they would create the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox was then able to begin work on her solo debut album Diva and it was released around 1992. It was a massive hit both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo release was released in November of 2014. The C.D. Lennox has chosen her favorite blues, soul and jazz tunes. Additionally, in May 2019, Lennox has released Lepidoptera which is a compilation of four piano tracks that she improvised. The E.P. is an accompanying piece to her exhibit at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art titled"Now I'm Giving You go... Her debut album that is her own. In 1992 Lennox launched a solo career by releasing her debut album Diva that produced a number of hit tracks, including Why and Walking through Broken Glass. Medusa is her album in 1995. studio, features covers of the songs No MoreI Love Yous as well as The Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo catalog includes six studio albums as well a compilation album to her credit.
