Coleman is a Lancashire native. She was educated at Arnold School in Blackpool. As headgirl, she earned straight A grades for her A Levels. She regrets that she didn't get a normal schooling when talking about the Emmerdale experiences. Coleman worked with a group named In Yer Space at her school. They presented Crystal Clear in Edinburgh Festival. She won an award for her performance and the play was also highly praised. In the British Soap Awards of 2009 she was awarded in the categories Best Actress and Sexiest female and the category for Best Dramatic Acting. Coleman was nominated for Best Actress by the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March press conference in 2012 that Coleman will be Matt Smith's companion following the departure of Karen Gillan left. Moffat has decided to choose her for the role since she seemed to have the best chemistry with Smith. Also, she spoke quicker than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She's been working in the industry of entertainment since 1987. The most well-known of her roles was TV. Eva has had many TV characters, however the roles of Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children and Detective Natalia Boavistas from CSI Miami have stood out. It was the former that gave Eva two nominations for a Daytime Emmy.' She also got to express her creative side by performing music. Eva, in addition to acting as an actress, is a philanthropist, businesswoman and entrepreneur. She has been married three times with a daughter by her second partner.
