Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer who is best known as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. She began acting in stage shows during the 1950s starting by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. After that, she performed in several Broadway productions before she became the most famous on stage with Li'l Abner in 1957. Her first album of music, It's Time For Tina in the same year. Louise was first introduced to Hollywood as Griselda Walden, in God's Little Acre, a film from 1957 that was a dramatic. The film was a big hit and Louise even won the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. In the years prior to this, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. She signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway, playing somber characters to counter her image of the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as well as Helen Magnus, but in recent years, she has made a name for herself as a director of popular TV shows like Supernatural. Her family relocated out of Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for growing up and in adolescence. Then she settled in Vancouver following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter.
