Ina Garten is a well-known American cookery book author and Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which began in 2002, and has been aired for 27 seasons until 2020. Ina began to write policies and nuclear energy papers in the White House. She initially found her career to be intellectually stimulating, however she soon lost interest, and purchased a tiny grocery store that was known as Barefoot Contessa. The store was a success for 18 years. the business extremely profitable before letting it go before acquiring a pen to write her first cookbook. The cookbooks were followed by many more, and magazines columns which came later. Another success was her Food Network Television show. The company sells numerous things, from food ingredients food preparation to kitchenware, storage and even cooking equipment. Ina is an aspiring cook who has never attended a cooking school or been in a kitchen. Ina is known for her relaxed way of cooking and entertaining. Her most well-known recipes include Skillet with Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and Cheese, Beef bourguignon, Mac and cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake and Lemon Bars.
