Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has received numerous awards for her writing and design. She has been a vocal advocate for the rights of animals. Her films are Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). When she was in New York, she was born into an artistic family. She started as a photographic assistant, before progressing to modeling and acting. In her first two films, she was recognized and won the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. MacGraw was a worldwide celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. After just three short films, MacGraw was declared one of the most successful women at the box office in history. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph, hand-prints and foot prints in 1972. In addition to The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV show The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw has married thrice.
